Yet more F.E.A.R. maps News

Xbox 360 News by Tom Bramwell

24 July, 2007

F.E.A.R. gets another boost this week with the launch of the Synchronicity Pack on Xbox Live Marketplace.

Priced slightly oddly at 550 Microsoft points (GBP 4.68 / EUR 6.40), it consists of five new multiplayer arenas - three for Capture the Flag/Conquer All and two for Deathmatch/Control.

Of the former, Dead Wood sees players having to pick between high and low roads, while the other two are called Labs and Depot. DM and Control pal Stockpile is described as claustrophobic and joined by another called Waterworks.

All should be available on Live now, following on from the Nightmare Pack released earlier this month and June's Control and Conquer Map Pack.

F.E.A.R. is awesome, but does anyone actually still play this online anymore?

I Went online just before Christmas but there was hardly anyone playing this. People seem to move on the latest games quite quickly.

Oh yes, in one of my rare delves into Live, had some excellent FEAR games, including a team game with 12+ players. However, I actually won one of them, suggesting the quality players have moved on ;)

Oooo, might consider actually having a go on Live then, what with me being shit and all ;)

Do you need to have downloaded the maps to play?
