Thank you very much Sega. Now only hoping it won't be too long before it's released.

I'm delighted to hear this, and perfectly timed while we wait for Yakuza 3.

I wanted to like the first one so bad and yet it really did leave me wanting...Shenmue!

Awesome news! I'm coming around to completing the original for the first time so lets hope that it will see its way to stores soon.
This probably means that Yakuza 3 should be in the cards too. Neat! :)

So while we're in this sort of mood how about someone picking up the new PS2 twisted metal game for a PAL release? Just don't bother if you're going to cut content again though.

I'd like something a bit more concrete before I believe it. It was announced for the US ages ago but there's been no news of it since and I think the original sold well in State-side.

Great news for sure, it just makes me more pissed that they've stopped selling BC compatible PS3's in Europe. Get some sense Sony!

Excellent. The second game is better than the first in pretty much every respect, and I wholeheartedly recommend it, having gotten so wrapped up in the storyline that I played the last 15 hours of the game in one session!

This is wonderful news!
Everybody buy this game! Who knows if they're waiting to see if it sells any better than the first one to decide whether they should release Yakuza 3 in the West? Besides, from what I've read, it is very superior to the first game and that one was already great (everybody should pick it up too).
Now, if only they keep the original voice acting, as rumours say... That'd be perfect!

Well if all 18 of us buy a copy, maybe this time it will sell well :-)

Great News!

I am gonna take my time on this one, and try and figure out all the mini games. Instead of just rushing through it!

Always happy for another reason to hold onto the trusty ps2.

Oh, and as I'm bored I'd like to read into the apparent connection between the Yakuza games and Burger King, the evidence being the use of the terms "whopping" and "meaty" to decribe their scores.

Or is it an attack on Famitsu, saying their reviews are similarly lightweight and lacking in substance?

So very, very bored...

Fucking awesome, best news I've heard all day. Now I'll have to buy it on release just to appease Sega :)

w00t now Sega don't waste too much money on localisation, the Japanese dub is more than good for us ;)

Has anyone watched Ryu Ga Gotoku the film btw?
