I need to upgrade my 20 gig harddrive to a bigger one.

anyone know if there's an easy way to transfer data/saves/etc from my old one to my new one?

They sold two versions where I live, one with hard drive from launch.

Eurogamer you should of asked what they are giving us to replace the fact we don't get Netflix

Am I the only one who's a LITTLE paranoid about this new dashboard?

it's in effect a new OS, on a machine which is already not particularly stable..

I *fully* expect there to be "teething problems"

- I wonder if i'd be allowed to NOT upgrade until i see everything is fine?

Smelly, I think you are being a little paranoid. Still, the option to not accept the update is, as always, yours. You will be signed out of Xbox Live though.

Apparently they're sending out free memory for he new dashboard. You just phone up and ask.

Haven't tried it though.

For anyone who is upgrading to a 120 gig hard drive, you can get between £25 - £30 for your old hard drive and around £10-£15 for the data transfer kit on ebay. Thats what I did and I only paid £70 for the new hard drive from Blockbuster.

Seems like a reasonable chap, but I had to smile at the closing questions: "yeah, if you want to get the thing that really makes the 360 stand out from the competition you really won't be able to buy the cheap version, that's just a gateway drug." :D

I'm looking for to seeing this running. If it stops me having to wait for adverts to load so I can get to the things on my own hard-drive then bring it on.

Or do what i did and bag yourself a 120 gig drive for 50 quid off ebay.
Came from japan and when plugged in instead of it saying HDD it was something japanese but it works just fine ( and you can change the name of the drive anyway).
