You can use the Forza cars immediately in Arcade mode. No one likes arcade mode though.

Why didn't they feature the biggest bargain of all time - Oblivion Horse Armour?

The Stranglehold DLC is worth it for the new "testikill achievement" alone.

Pay 14 euro to unlock in-game content you already paid 60 euro for in the first place.

Pure marketing genius from EA.

Agreed,

They must be coming soon, it'll be like printing money for the developers - whatever the price, a lot of people will pay up.

A few new guns to unlock as well, and maybe a few extra perks, or even new gameplay modes . . . . .

/gets overexcited, goes for cold shower.

Squire - not sure I follow you. There are two packs on Live, one with Choji and Temari in it, one with Jiraiya and the San-daime Hokage bloke in it. Each one is 500 points, and I didn't spot a freebie character in either, although I'll grant you I didn't actually look too hard. Can you clarify a bit?

I wouldn't really rate the Bioshock DLC 9/10 seeing as the plasmids are crap...yes it's free but adds nothing to the game imo. No reason to replay it unless you're a achievement whore.

Add some new enemies or original plasmids that add to the game and charge for it, this free stuff sucks ass.

Aye.
I seem to remember codemasters doing a similar trick on the ps2/xbox:
individual codes in manuals that you had to repeat over the telephone to get specific unlock cheats.

Anyone knows how Blue Dragon's DLC fit into the game? I mean, can I use a save game near the end, where I have my characters around level 80, in order to play it (are they new side-quests?) ?

You're kidding, right? Not dissing you (I sometimes think the same) but the world doesn't ask us what we like or don't.

"Do you get the 100-point Bioshock achievement for not using the vita chambers even if you complete the game on EASY?"
I think it must be on HARD, but perhaps another EGamer knows for sure...

It's a new optional dungeon, basically. You can use it with any savegame where the characters are above level 50.

I don't actually know whether the Vita-chamber achievement on Bioshock applies on Easy mode or not. I confess that I haven't been man enough to try and get it just yet. I did really like the new Sonic Boom plasmid though, and the new tonics add a nice bit of variety - surprised at the hate for the pack here, actually!

How on earth is the map pack for Stranglehold in any way good value for the price of two standalone XBLA games?

"They're absolutely fantastic, demonstrating Bungie's unrivalled ability to craft multiplayer maps that are perfectly honed and tuned, with every weapon placement, every piece of cover and every chokepoint carefully considered, tested and polished."

This statement is simply incorrect. Valve are clearly strong rivals to Bungie when it comes to making multiplayer maps.

If EG thinks "Need For Cash : Pro Street" is 2/10 value, they obviously haven't seen the DLC available for "Need For More Cash : Carbon"

Content - 48 Items

Size - 5.24 MB

Price - GBP £81.43 - EUR €111.42 - USD $119.70

Source - http://www.achieve360points.com/live/nee...

Twice the original cost of the game, for 5MB of DLC. Ouch !

@TruSmiles:

Some good points there, although while there are a lot of things advertised that haven't appeared yet, I'm not sure PSO levels were amongst them? They're due as an event in the coming months. Also, good to see someone else who plays it round here. Was beginning to think I was the only one.

IIRC, most of Carbon's DLC was basically cheats. Hell, if people are stupid enought o buy a crap game AND pay to cheat at it, let them. They're only losing their money.
