Gorgeous 3D platform puzzler.

Lode Runner developer Southend has unveiled a charming XBLA exclusive called Ilomilo.

The name is a play on the game's two main characters Ilo and Milo. They're cute little squarish-shaped things that make their way around wacky 3D worlds on platforms made up of cubes.

The style is reminiscent of Noby Noby Boy and Katamari Damacy.

Ilomilo has no release date at the moment. Keep an eye on the Ilomilo blog to find out more.

I am so done with the whole cutesy indie look. It's one of the most overplayed visual styles, even worse than the grey/brown realism thing.

The gameplay looks interesting though, could be something to keep an eye on.

Xbox Live is going to fill my summer drought (of about 5 minutes) after I finish Alan Wake and Red Dead. This looks great. Still wish they would release Tecmo Bowl though and some classic arcade games for Games Room.
