Make it less shiney! Since when was everything in space so bloody clean?!
  • DUFFKING #2 4 years ago

Also, based on the previous games, since when was space so fucking boring?

Amen to that, Duffking. At some point, I think it was in the late nineties, someone decided that the most important aspect of a space shooter was realism. Apparently I didn't want x-wing style spitfires-in-space anymore, I wanted momentum and inertia and physics (spits).

I would very much like to find that person and nail them to a fucking tree.

Yeah lutz loves this boring shit, buying tribbles at alpha bumhole six and selling them for profit at 20 scumbals a piece to pink trader on seti zeta 1 after a 30 minute real time chug.

It's got spaceships in it, it's my sworn duty to make sure it doesn't have accountancy software hidden in it anywhere.

x3 can be tedious sometimes, but overall it is easily the best space sim in the last 6 year or so, if only b/c it's not a dumbed down piece of shit aimed at the adhd console crowd. also, just b/c it does offer a ridiculously micro-management economy doesn't mean the player can't just ignore it and instead focus on combat, which is excellent (even better with the xtended mod) and far funner than crap like darkstarone.
