World at War map pack detailed News

PC Xbox 360 PlayStation 3
News by Robert Purchese

11 February, 2009

Treyarch has detailed the first Call of Duty: World at War map pack, which we can expect to see on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 sometime next month.

There's no word on the price, but inside will be three new maps plus a new Nazi zombie co-op level to survive.

The latter, "Verrückt", is an asylum stuffed with more weapons, perks and electroshock defenses to use to stop the undead horde.

Nightfire is the first of the maps and takes place in the flaming streets of war-torn Berlin. Station, a demolished underground station, comes next, followed by Knee Deep: a Japanese command center on the island of Peleliu.

Check back soon for more.

This has sparked my interest levels back up in this.

More zombies = good
More maps = good
Most likely more glitches under the new maps = bad

I like WaW, but I do not think it is as good as modern warfare.
