Not a bad director although I've never really been that interested in the Wolfenstein story. RtcW was a bit poo really.

If the movie doesn't take itself too seriously and delivers some freaky nazi enemies, then this could actually turn out into some cool and glossy Indiana Jones meets Quentin Tarantino kinda pulp action thingy...Nice, looking forward to it.

So many cool games with good storylines. And still they turn FPS games into movies??

Better start working on Half Life then. Now that would be something.

They'll never film Half Life: every story treatment thus far submitted has Gordon finding love or Vortigaunts reunited with their wives or somesuch crap according to Gabe Newell and Marc Laidlaw.

As for Wolfenstein, they've already made the best 'supernatural vs. Nazis' movies already, vis. 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' and Michael Mann's 'The Keep' (to which RtCW was heavily indebted). 'The Bunker' was pretty good too, considering the budget was about 50p and some Argos vouchers.

The only way this movie will be any good is if the finale involves Hitler stomping around in a suit of powered armour.

Don't forget Hellboy. "Kroenen" could be straight outta some Wolfenstein game:-)

Ooop, excellent point! Hellboy too (technically only the bit pre-credits, but let's not split hairs). Kroenen was very cool in that 'yes he's evil but damn he's cool' way.

They need to get back on the set of "Where Eagles Dare" with Clint Eastwood - that film looks like it was the entire basis for Wolfenstein! (minus the demonic nazi zombies)
