It supposedly isnt as good as Pilotwings according to the Japanese reviews. Which is a shame. But hopefully, hopefully Nintendo will resurrect the PW franchise on Wii. And a conversion of the original Pilotwings on the DS would be amazing. Can the DS do that "mode 7" effect that was crucial to the original style.

Mode 7 was jsut a way of scaling sprites, the ds is powerful enough to do full 3D (see new super mario bros for example).
