Wii Fit also here in April
Nintendo goes date bananas.
Nintendo has continued its dating frenzy by revealing that Wii Fit will be released here on 25th April.
Which is before the USA, if unconfirmed reports are to be believed.
Wii Fit comes with a sensor board that reacts to pressure exerted on it, and does clever things like calculate your body mass index and make you do press-ups.
The game is an exercise package with a guide to steer you through tricky things like yoga and all sorts of other balance-related manoeuvres.
It should help you and your family train and stay fit, according to the website. Will you be picking it up, Eurogamer reader?
A price is to be announced soon. Pop over to our Wii Fit gallery for a fresh influx of shots.

if that's april too (pah, probabbly won't be now, maybe Nintendo are giving us wii fit and mario kart before America to try and make up for it which = fail) then April is probabbly going to be an amazing month for gaming in Europe.

That's much more interesting to me.

They probably have to point out that it might not keep you fit unless the rest of your lifestyle is also fairly healthy. I guess it also depends on how fit you are at the start. Since it has you doing press-ups and jogging it'll make me fitter since I currently do almost no exercise. If you're already fit it's probably too gente to make any difference.
As for going to the gym, it's never going to happen. I can actually see myself using this though.
Incidentally, I'm already fairly aware of my body, that's how I know I need to do this!

The jogging part of Wii Fit doesn't actually use the Balance Board; you put the wii remote in your back pocket and it maps your motion to the character on screen running through parks, etc, against other runners at your target pace.
So just need a strong floor then.
