White Knight Chronicles 2 revealed

Sony backs Level-5's PS3 RPG.

Developer Level-5 has announced a sequel to White Knight Chronicles, subtitled Awakening of Light and Darkness.

A trailer was shown at the Tokyo Game Show reveal, according to Kotaku, but we cannot find it. Please let us know below if you can.

The original White Knight Chronicles, exclusive to PS3, hasn't even reached the West yet. When it does, however, Level-5 will pack in plenty of extra features.

The Western release, for which there is no date, will also offer a much improved online experience. This, remember, dampened the Japanese release last December.

    Yeah, they were showing suposibly "in game futage" of FFVII remake and killzone II years before the console release and only one came out and that was this year. So , yeah this is just so Sony... rofl. They are backing it up as stated in the article so when Sony is involved those kind of craptalking are more than expected. Not used to it yet? just keep eyes open and you will see it easily. XP

    Is Davisorle a Donnie fanboy clone?

    There are very few companies that dont announce games till late in the dev process, in fact many release information way in advance... years in fact. So im not sure what your getting at, its no difference if its a Sony exclusive or 3rd party, they do it to advertise their IP. In sony's case its trying to show people that well known ip is in development.

    All i know is that i made a proved point, got my minus from the PS3 owners that get butthurt when I made valid points at least and not proved wrong, be called "donnie" or whoever the f**k that is and yet ur butthurt and me minus rated from the tards that think i give a fuck about your ratings.. lol the momment i care who you think I am and about your ratings cause you love your consoles too much to deal with facts, ill pay the bullet and the gun for you to shoot me with. :) lol

    I dont care for ppl that care about their PS3 nor 360s more than their selfrespect. And apparently you know this Donnieboy very well cause he bugs you somehow ( i dont care about someone who i dont know without wanting to be a dig to him or whatever, its s fact ).     but you didn't actually say anything. how is it a sony issue if level 5 announce a japanese sequel to a japanese game at the tokyo game show.

    plus, the final fantasy VII tech promo was just that a promo. there was never any promise of a game behind it. regardless, it was by square enix and has nothing to do with sony.

    Are you like some angry teenager or something? Lots of anger there... its only an internet forum you know. Who cares that you got a minus, I got 5 for saying Natal was not all it was hyped up to be, but who cares.. doesnt make me hate ALL xbox users because some gave me a minus (I have an xbox also). This isnt the first topic youve been on today slating Sony... now if your posts had some good reasoning behind them i might even give you a +. None of the console manufacturers are perfect, but picking on one because you dont like them is pretty childish.

    How is Alan Wake davisorle?

    Oh? Not played it yet? Why not? It was announced at E3 2005 wasn't it?

    Five years and nothing. I guess that means it's a PS3 exclusive now because only Sony would do this.

    Yea it's getting silly at this stage. If they announced it for Japan with a world date to follow I would understand but, at least wait until you know if we even like the bloody White Knight stuff here in the west, before telling us there is another one on the way already!

    Good news that the series will continue, but it would be nice if they could actually get WKC released in the West before teasing us with a sequel.

    Dragon Age has been announced since at least E3 2004; just wondering how you feel about that...?!

    Did davisorle actually think that FFVII promo video was a trailer for a new/remake FFVII game on the PS3?

    @Cappy Alan wake is one of the biggest dissapointments ( in the waiting manner ) from MS ? Remedy side. I dont deny it. Like i said.. Not my fault the butthurt console owneers are reacting like I would only react if you talked about my woman / family that way. I do pity all of them.. lol Im not angry nor a teenager.     Well , at leat we know WKC will be released in the West ,and that because of that WKC 2 will be released too .....so two great JRPG to look forward too.

    That said ,I would appreciate Level 5 stoping to polish the first game so much and release it already I have been waiting for this for 3 years for gods sake.

    So true. Level 5 are awesome, probably my favourite developer - really want WKC1.5 and it's great to know a sequal will happen.
