Web snares new Spidey game
Friend or Foe?
Activision has revealed it's working on a new Spider-Man game to be released this autumn.
Spider-Man: Friend or Foe aims to offer "A new twist on the legend" and "A new take on the movies", according to the freshly launched website.
Unfortunately Activision was unavailable to tell us anything else about the game, or confirm the release date in Europe. More information is expected to turn up when the full website launches "soon".
It sounds like it could be part of the Spider-Man Trilogy that Activision revealed in a financial statement last year - which was due for a late 2007 release.
Spider-Man 3 popped into cinemas last Friday and was accompanied by usual videogame side-dish. Unfortunately neither seemed to swing to the dizzy heights expected. Head over to our Spider-Man 3 review to find out why.

I imagine we can play as the Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Venom, Sandman or the New (Harry) Goblin against Spider-Man himself.
It would be a good concept if it can be pulled off.

I read on some forum or another that the Wii version is the most fooked version of the lot, and that the Wiimote control options are bloody awful and basically broken.
