I can not get the putting right in either Wii Sports or Tiger Woods. Hopefully if they make this easier for novices like me I'll look forward to it!

I have to say, the golf on Wii Sports is probably my least played of all of them - even Baseball. I appreciate there's a decent market out there for golf games, but... well, I'd rather they did Golden Sun DS for us.

It doesn't really matter how good this game is, once it's out on the shelves and hidden behind gems such as 'Ninjabread Man' and 'Anubis', it'll still get largely overlooked.
''Look son, it's a game about a ninja, who, who, get this.... Is a gingerbread man!!!! LOL''
Not trolling, just pointing out the sad facts.
The good games on the Wii which are a success or are only the ones which can afford a massive marketing blitz.

I like Wii Sports golf. It's probably my most played of the lot.

I wonder if we'll see a Mario Golf on the Wii.

The Everybody's Golf games are fantastic. Great party games.

Preordered this with Shopto a few weeks ago and I'm really looking forward to it.

It would make me a very happy man indeed if Nintendo would just release an expanded, stand-alone Wii Sports Golf game, with 4 or 5 courses and a couple of tournaments.



and possibly some unlockable hardcore horse porn mini-game.

Nexus, you've got it spot on. Golf on Wii Sports has the action down to a tee. (sorry). It's almost if these other developers feel they have to go out of their way to do something different. I'll go out of my way not to buy it.

"We also didn't think we needed to make a game that just lets the player swing the remote control to play golf." - < How, how, how is this rational?

Love Camelot, love Mario/Everybody's golf and I no doubt love the look of We Love Golf. Sadly, being the lazy git that I am I really can't say I'm looking forward to spending hours standing up in front of the telly so I guess that since there wont be an option to play with a regular controller I'll probably give this one a pass. A shame really that Camelot decided to skip putting (yeah, I know) the option in the game.

- You swing back
- Pause slightly as a traditional power meter swings back and forth
- Complete the swing as the meter passes certain point

It's just the power of the swing that's not translated directly the Wiimote, but it's not *that* accurate in Wii Sports golf is it.
