    ... I can't wait for this.

(Oh god, did I say that!)

no need to run kami - i am too.

I think that it'll give wow a run for it's money.
  • Kami #3 6 years ago

    I do hope so.

Might actually get better end-game content in WoW then.

I've always liked the Games Workshop style, looks like they've captured it well.

I know nothing about warhammer ... but do you HAVE to be a dwarf?
  • Spanky #6 6 years ago

If going by the first screen you'll be one sexy dwarf Thamuhacha, hubba hubba!
  • lambtron #7 6 years ago

    Haha comedy beards FTW.

It looks bland to me. Visually unimpressed.

Still, won't rule Mythic out, am bit of a fanboy.

Looks Just like WOW... This is going to flop big time
  • Katsumoto #11 5 years ago

read anything about it and you will see it really won't be like WoW... except that it has orcs and dwarves! I promise blizzard didn't invent them though!

Idunno man, the art is pretty great. Characters, enemies and architectural design certainly look miles better than those in Oblivion which all looked like donkey manure. A pretty procedural tree rendering engine is certainly no substitute for good art direction.

How can you tell from screenshots it's "just like WoW"? The difference would be in the gameplay - or perhaps you belong to the surprisingly large number of people who do not know that the Games Workshop style for Warhammer predates Blizzard's copycat style for Warcraft by a few years?
  • Macross #14 5 years ago

    Yeah definately

    Art - Nice

    however:

Game Engine - Not so nice :\

I mean comeon is it not so much to expect a few nice shiny shaders on metal armour these days then the same old wow/lotro dull cardboard surfaces?

Id really like to be enthusiastic about this as i love warhammer and i think it will be better then wow and lotro but I'm really suffering from fantasy mmo overdose at the moment. Maybe by the time it is out I will feel better, we will see :)

Even shorter dwafs! And next gen moustaches!
  • Nasty #16 5 years ago

The style is great but my enthusiasm for this is dwindling fast. Stale looking engine, gameplay videos that look as much fun as an itchy scab on yer japs eye and developers not willing to innovate much. Age of Conan beta soon though

On paper, this game sounds great. Being a Chaos Space Marine and being a arsewipe to other players sounds like great fun.
...But the screenshots, I dunno, leave me less than impressed. It just looks so..meh.

Those little goblin shites look so childish too. Ugh.
I was hoping for more of a dark, disturbing kind of setting and character design.
From what I see though, it all looks a bit...juvenile.

I do hope for the best though, since on paper, this game has great potential.

EDIT_1: Good grief, looked at some of the other screenshots. It looks like a pile of wank. Reskinned WoW for-the-loss.
