Make the garden bigger and able to have more items in it (inc. pinatas).

Those limits were my only issues with the first one. Those and the fact that I'd start playing it in the morning and then blink and go 'Woah! When the hell did it get dark outside?' Evil time-hoover of a game.

Must be said, the snow looks awesome! And I have to confess at a little snort at 'Hoghurt' :-)

    Beautiful.

Too bad it still is on the wrong system.

Don't get me wrong, but people perceive Viva Pinata as a kids' game on 360, a destiny it just didn't deserve. So, either change the system or start backing it up with more titles like this on 360 so people get used to play different types of games on their 360s.

Looks good, but please Rare, make a menu system which doesn't take ages to load. I gave up playing the first Viva Pinata because you spent so much time waiting for the shop/menu system to load up.

i didnt think we'd get a sequal, but sooo glad we are :) first one was great, still need to go back to get the last 3 achievements!
is this due this year? any date known?
  • Stuz359 #9 4 years ago

Wow, indistinguishable from the first one.

    YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

God dammit I have been waiting for this for ages.
  • miiiguel #11 4 years ago

shadaik, you worry too much about that. I will definetly going to enjoy this on my 360. Fuck all the rest.

oh, and I had a lot of fun with Army of Two too..., so..., keep the eccleticism, I love it!

Graphically looks the same, although I detect maybe some menu tweaks, which is very, very well deserved. The first one was terrific, so hopefully this is more of the same, but with more variety, more Pinatas, and a streamlined menu system.

I'm also hoping for co-op - I'd love it if my girlie and I could make a garden together.
  • jonsaan #13 4 years ago

Oh maaan. The only game that makes me miss my 360. MS, sell RARE and let them go multiformat.
  • WinterSnowblind #14 4 years ago

    @Stuz359

And that's a bad thing? The first game was beautiful, the new environments here should really help things, and hopefully there is some kind of multiplayer aspect, beyond trading Pinata's this time.
  • Hunam #15 4 years ago

Looks awesome, and so co-op play in there too, sweet!

    w00t! Made of win! \0/

/happy for getting VP2 this year
/cries for not getting KI3 this year.
  • Xerx3s #17 4 years ago

I always thought VP was a commercial flop btw but I checked recently and it sold pretty well. It's no H3 obviously in terms of sales but it sold over a million in the first year which is quite good for such a niche game imo.
  • Stuz359 #18 4 years ago

I didn't mean it looked a bad game, or that I wanted shotguns or anything like that. I just meant that it looks more like a cheap cash-in rather than anything new. Sort of like FIFA ( I know 08 broked that trend by being good but you see my point ).
But just to clarify, I did like the first one and I do like stuff like this and harvest moon, I am not a deathmonger!

    THAT'S A PINATA HELGAST.

I hope the game is a bit more intuitive than the last. You got to a point where 'logically' you just didn't know what to do anymore. It's all well and good chucking down seeds and hoping a Pinata eats it for good effect, but where's the sense in that?

OK, it may suits a kids logic more than an adults, but to me there needed to be a cause for an effect...or is it just me?

"it was a poor mans Pokemon for a start, and it was trying too hard to be a kids game when it had no appeal beyond the blirghtly coloured animals. "

??? It plays nowhere near like Pokemon.
  • miiiguel #24 4 years ago

^^ it sounds like you never played it.

I'm kid. I like Piņatas..., and I do get laid, every single night. oooh shit, life's good and I start my vacations monday. I have 2 360s too.
Merk/headbog/swam dude is funny and I really missed him. Take a look how he picks Gears to say (I'll play on a PC!); then Spore (hey guys! remember you can play it on a Mac!) and VP (it's bad and is for kids!). Me likes.
