Rare has told Eurogamer that Viva Pinata: Pocket Paradise will bloom in Europe on 5th September.
This DS conversion loses none of the charm, nor complexity of the PC and Xbox 360 originals.
Elements are obviously downscaled, but handled skilfully and intuitively; detail is lost but bright colours abound, and the two screens layout the often overwhelming stream of information in an easily digestible way.
Various other modes have been added to help Pocket Paradise appeal to as many fingers and thumbs as possible but, luckily, the core garden-building and animal-mating is still very much here.
Head over to our detailed hands-on with Viva Pinata: Pocket Paradise to find out much more.
