I've got my 360, but must admit, the difference is quite noticeable in these shots.

Will have to start to save for the PS3 now!!

No, I'm not, the crispness of the PS3 shots is quite noticeable. Take the dress of the chick. Quite a big difference I reckon

you are right

to me alot of xbox games either use HDR to much cause of the blurriness or a tub of Vaseline over the lens :P

Anyone else noticed that on the 360 that all the bannister's are missing from the court in the 2nd shot?

Was considering a PS3 then I saw the black outline on the flowers - seems for the PS3 version of Virtua tennis they must have Employed thet crack down artist to pen some flowers for them - or Maybe there is a cheat to enable Crackdown style shading on all Floral decorations? lol ;-)

Also the shadows in VT3 seem much more convincing on the 360 due to the fact that all shadows are soft shaded on it - the PS3 shadows are razor sharpe on the ball and chrarcters yet the "baked in" shadows of umpire and court furniture etc are soft shadowed on PS3.

Although it does have to be said, possibly as a result of either the soft shadowing filter on the 360, or the model used to cast the shadow (or a combination of the two) has resulted in (on the 1st shot) it look's like Fedderer is able to even play tennis without his arm touching the racket - always knew he was a genius but thats taking the mic' Rodger! lol

I hope they used the retail 360 version and not the demo, the banners are different, the onscreen logos("exibition match" ect on screens 2 and 3) look different also... strange!. Other than that there appears to be more pronounced lighting on the PS3 version in the cutscenes(although this could be the weather in the game, or screen caps not taken at the same time... tut tut EG if so).

It looks darker on the 360...(some say its the VGA connection but surely theres a way to sort that out?) having said that every PC video card Ive configured always reccomends darker settings for 3d games. Maybe its the HDMI, if it is then maybe those with HDMI capable tellies arent being as fussy as I thought to want a 360 capable of it.

All in all though they look slightly different but I wouldnt say one looks 'better' than the other.

LMFAO!!!

"look the shots look ever so slightly nicer on one platform than the other, if you look really carefully"

.. shit.. that's convinced me to buy console a over console b.

the PS3 shot looks brighter and crisper - but that's about it.

By the way, is there a replay/screenshot facility? It better.

As much eager as people are to "spot the differences" and look for the missing boats and flags from either version of this or that game, all that these comparisons prove is that games look pretty the same on both the 360 and PS3, and should provide players with a similar experience.

I do hope people stop doing this "side-by-side comparison" soon enough, as it's rather pointless.

Hmm.

PS3 looks more eye inviting I must admit..

Although.... the 360 girl does have some nice teeth...

Hmm indeed.
