Valve bundles 22 games for USD 99
Includes Left 4 Dead. Bargain!
Valve has bundled a whopping Complete Pack of games together on Steam for a quite ridiculous discount price.
In total there are 22 titles, including Left 4 Dead, all of the Half-Life series, both Team Fortress outings, Portal, the Counter-Strike collection, the pair of Day of Defeat games and Peggle Extreme.
Individually, that amounts to USD 234 (GBP 157). But Valve is selling the Complete Pack for just USD 99 (GBP 66). Blimey. And the collection is available in just about every language.
Left 4 Dead, incidentally, launches tomorrow on Steam. You can expect our thoughts this week.
Head over to the Steam website for more information on the Complete Pack, or, you know, to buy it.

Having never played Half Life 2 before, I did purchase and download that for next to nothing. Might give it a go later.

Man why now WHY NOW? VALVE u Bastards I only pre-ordered L4D yesterday for £34, ahh I feel ripped off now.
Umm, if you pre ordered it on Steam then it's your own fault for missing the "PACKAGES THAT INCLUDE THIS GAME: Buy Valve Complete Pack" that's been right underneath the add to cart button for a couple of days now.
If you didn't pre order off Steam, it's your own fault that you're paying more than £20 for it.
Sorry.

I'm actually one of the few (five) who doesn't own all, although I just bought orangebox for about 12£. Being 3-4 years behind everyone [because I'm a cheap bastard combined with having a job] sure is bargain bliss. Just finished hl2 and I'm on episode1 now, my pc would be a ninja-pc if i stepped into my time machine and went back to hl2 release date. Sadly it can only go back in time...so I only use it when I get BSOD and have forgotten backup.

Edge gave it 9, Official Xbox Magazine (the US version I think) gave it 9.5.
I gave the demo 9 and am rocking back and forward in anticipation for Friday.

And huge numbers of those mods used to be free for any half-life one owner (DoD, CS, richochet) or were half price discounted during their lifetime (css, cs, dod, dods. tf2) hell some of them came free with ati gpus for years.
