Boll being as dense as he is will probably boast about this "award" if he wins it.

I never thought I'd say it, but there were too many fight scenes in that film.

I had no idea In the Name of the King was even in the same ball park as a game. Why do people keep letting him do this? I would've hoped the so called Credit Crunch would've stopped him, but he's like a relentless shit movie machine.

And one question - Bloodrayne 2 movie. How?

Postal is one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time :)

That Uwe Boll continues to work is a tragedy of the film world - for those that don't know, he can keep making the turds that he does by exploiting a loophole in German law and tax exploits designed to encourage their movie industry. What amazes me is that games studios are still willing to sell him their properties.

Except Blizzard the other month, which was great :)

His films are bollocks maybe but the guy is making money. That's the really sad thing. That there are people out there who will pay to watch the crap he is making is frankly unbelievable. He cleans up on DVD sales. The world is a sad place.

I've not seen any of his other films yet but can imagine their awfulness, however Postal, with it's tongue-in-cheek outrageousness was an incredibly bizarre, almost Lynchian, piece of funny-as-fuck timely social commentary.

The line about the prophecy (Vern Troyer related) was the funniest lines in a film for a decade, probably helped by the heap of crap of the film leading up to that point. I rather enjoyed Postal.

To be fair, the rubber shark in Jaws actually had some talent compared to Boll.

John Rogers also turned up to collect for his contribution to Catwoman, but he probably felt ok with it knowing that 3 other writers rewrote it after him.

lmao i sat threw house of the dead then snapped the dvd disk afterwards i then stupidly in a act of " bollism" watched house of the dead 2...... words can't describe the hatred and anger that oozed out of me at myself and boll.i self harmed for a week and then repented my sins to god.

classic scene group of troops walk into a area with zombies held behind a cage full clips in guns ... chooses not to mow them down even though they are sitting targets .Anyways cut to half hour later fence breaks zombies get loose kill everyone nice 1 boll nice 1 on the common fucking sense front you dumb pecker !

anyways after that film i swore id never watch another boll film and would encourage anyone else to do the same and boycout this guy full force.

comments made about directors from him and his only way to settle his fueds with directors calling him shit even though they are true by having a old fashion fight and resorting to violence is well .. saddening.

this guy is not only destroying the games insdustry but also the film industry along with a number of actors with him ( jason statham) being 1 of the casualtys.

You know...Bloodrayne was on the TV this weekend and I happened to catch it. It wasn't actually that bad. I've seen plenty of Vampire movies that were infinitely worse than this; Dracula 2000, Dusk 'til Dawn 3, anyone? The acting was decent, the sets were conspicuously well made. The cinematography was alright. My honest opinion is that movie is one of his better ones.

It's seen as trendy to mock the dude, but he's at the low end of mainsteam horror/upper end of B movies and because he resides in this chasm, it's hard to judge his movies. Many of his movies knock lumps out of the usual Horror Channel offerings.

Maybe one day people will give him a break when they start to think for themselves and compare like with like.

He's not a very talented director, that's true, but there are many big Hollywood directors that suck as much as he does is and that win much more money. Think about Michael Bay or the shit-movie-man himself Brett Ratner. If Boll had their budget his movies probably would be just as good (and I mean by that BAD). I'd rather bash Michael Bay for destroying Transformers rather than Boll for his unfortunate productions.
