Was expecting a 2 or 3. :D

Edit - Your developer is wrong, it's developed by Sony Online Entertainment.

Where on earth did they get the impression that Untold Legends deserved a follow-up? At least build in some functionality with the psp titles.

The first PSP incarnation had the worst music and loading times I've experienced so far on any platform.

So there's a very good reason why the Legend is Untold, and the Kingdom is rather Dark.

4/10? How generous! LOL

Nah, I kind of gathered it wasn't very good from the US reviews so I had absolutely no intention of ever buying it even if EG had scored it higher than 5!!! Naturally, if there's a demo to download and try as there is for the equally dire Genji 2 then I'll check it out if only to find out why those games are so bad. Shame about Genji 2 though really as graphically it looks very nice indeed and the PS3 really needs these kinds of exclsuive games to give it something over the Xbox 360.

This isn't a UK launch title is it? Seems like an odd time to review it. Months after the US release and a good month before we can get it in the UK.

Anyone know if this one allows co-op play offline (ie. on same console)? BG-Dark Alliance, CoN and RtA were great fun played together on the same console.

Why cant these games start you off with a few different powers. As much as I liked Champions of Norrath et al, the characters only got any good when you reached about level 15 or so, by that pint, you have almost completed the game. Just to start again at a higher difficulty, to be able to use your new abilities to the fullest.

Pretty though.

good good, you have 2 (t-w-o) games, that's so cool!

/looks to the 32 360's, over-the-top-and-absolutly-amazing games on shelf, and wonders what should I play now...?/

If you're judging a console for one bad game, why shouldn't I do the same for one or two good ones?

And I guess if those games were so fabulous, you'd be playing them instead of wasting your time trolling.

Those player characters look unbelievably boring. Someone was probably paid a fair bit to come up with them, too.

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance and it's sequel were solid hack'n'slash titles that streamlined the Diablo style gaming to consoles. After that there hasn't really been a solid effort on consoles. It's a pity, really, since those games offered one of the best co-op gaming experiences I know.

Playstation 3 has very few exclusive games, and almost all of them are very poor. All of the third-party games released on both the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360 have better graphics and more online features on the Xbox 360.

Until the price is lowered, and until more games are released for the Playstation 3, people shouldn't even consider purchasing it, because the Playstation 3 is a very poor videogame system compared to the excellent Xbox 360.

I played through Diablo II and Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance with a lot of pleasure, but I couldn't finish BGDAII anymore. Later I tried again with Titan Quest (PC) and Dungeon Siege (PSP), but I just got too bored. I guess these type of hack 'n slash type of games are fun once or twice in your life, but that's where it ends...

On the other hand, I enjoyed (and even finished) Marvel Ultimate Alliance. That was mainly because the large cast of characters you could easily try.

I got the impression that the reviewer just doesn't like RPG style games at all, so why he is reviewing this is weird.

I had the chance to play this game over the last couple of days and it was fun and entertaining. In essence it is just like Diablo, Titan Quest, Dungeon Siege etc. - you go along a fairly linear path attacking monsters to level up your character and gain new abilities and items. It doesn't try to be pretentious or clever and pretend that it has some higher meaning.

It's quick to learn and easy to jump into when you have some spare time - it's hack'n'slash but most importantly it was fun to play.
