The warehouse looked nice but a bit bland but the slimy tentacle things looked quite good. Still, quite boring environments. Where's the stripper joints?

Yeah, I bet an art director who can't get the job done in 12 years is in demand on the open market. :P

I want to read the inside story about this game's development process :)

"these could be screen shots from any generis FPS, very dull"

    My thoughts exactly.

So bland warehouses is what they've been working on, rather than seedy strip clubs with strippers? No bloody wonder the accountants pulled the plug.

    Looks good. When's it out?

I just hope someone else picks it up and finishes it off so we can get some closure on the whole thing!!!

Is it me or do it have a striking resemblance to Prey?

As long as its not EA!!!!!

It would be nice to have seen some more iconic Duke things that were going to make it into the game.Like some familiar enemies or a seedy club. But indeed, this looks like any other fps.

    A very nice one though.

these look like they would sit quite happily in Dead Space. Is that considered a generic shooter as well? :S

Shots all seem kind of dark and gritty considering how fundamentally camp Duke Nukem games have all been.

For those saying "that looks dull" - you'll notice that the areas are devoid of any interactive elements, enemies, pickups, moving parts, etc... don't judge them too harshly :)

What is it with these sexually frustrated teenagers who think Duke Nukem is all about 'seedy strip clubs with strippers'? The sole purpose of Duke Nukem is to satirise first person shooters, to mock campy 'alien invasion' scenarios, one-liners, violence, and yes, lewd gestures and characters. But strippers and women being raped by tentacles was but a 1/10th of what Duke Nukem was. I certainly don't remember Duke Nukem because of its strippers.

Not that DNF didn't have them: [link url=http://www.eurogamer.net/videos/duke-nukem-forever-3d-modelling-footage

I can't disagree that these environments look fairly empty, unremarkable and void of colours, though.

Does anyone seriously care about Duke Nukem anymore? This looks pony.

They might as well make a Dizzy comeback game in glorious next gen (it'd be just as lame) or even a Leisure Suit Larry remake....oh, hang on......they did and it was poo.

Looking at those shots, I'd rather hire the producer. And that's saying something.
