Euro Wii Sports Resort sales hit 600k
WMP flag-waver doing the business.
Wii Sports Resort has jet-skied past the 600,000 sales mark in Europe, GamesIndustry.biz reports, and taken under two weeks to do so.
The game launched here on 24th July and promptly shot to the top of the UK all-formats chart, recording the fourth biggest first-week sales of any Wii game.
Wii Sports Resort will be gunning for a third consecutive top spot when the UK charts air this coming Monday.
Elsewhere in the world, WSR took eight days to pass half-a-million sales in the US, and became the third fastest selling game on Wii in Japan.

Played this at a mate's house, with two MP thingies.
I really loved the archery and the table tennis - the rest were a bit.. meh - but I only played it for a short while.
Still, good going ol' ninty!

So is it UK or EU?
The first sentence in the article reads: "Wii Sports Resort has jet-skied past the 600,000 sales mark in Europe".

They seem to have done well on their stock/supply issues. I asked in the off chance of Asda about a week after launch and they said they had piles of them out back. They must have been stockpiling the M+ for a while - they are big numbers for the US and for Europe.
Perhaps the consipiracy theory that toy/console manufactures creat stcok shortages in order to raise demand is flawed!

Really? I was sure it always said "Euro Wii Sports Resort sales hit 600k". Apologies if my post appeared snooty.
