UK charts: Street Fighter IV victorious
DOWII, 50 Cent, RACE Pro all feature.
Street Fighter IV batters competition to lead the UK all-formats chart this week.
The Capcom brawler shifts 53 per cent of copies on PlayStation 3, leaving only 47 per cent on Xbox 360. A d-pad preference, perhaps.
That new entry turfs Wii Fit down to two, despite the latter selling 20 per cent more copies this week.
Newcomer and PC-exclusive Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II follows at three. The Relic RTS also knocks Football Manager off of the PC-specific throne.
Below, animated series tie-in Ben 10: Alien Force jumps from 13 to four, trailed by FIFA 09 at five and Call of Duty: World at War at six.
SEGA Mega Drive: Ultimate Collection enters at seven, ahead of Mario Kart Wii at eight, Wii Play at nine and F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin at 10.
Other new entries this week are the Xbox 360-exclusive RACE Pro at 13, and 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand at 22, which must be a little disappointing for THQ.

What makes you say that?! I think the PS3 has an excellent d-pad.
I would like to see 50 pence do well, if only because I want Swordfish Studios to prosper. I'm still waiting on Cold Winter 2!!

And yeah, the PS3's dpad is fine. Currently playing Lumines with it and have broken all my old records on the PSP (and Lumines Live) - 77,241,374 and 775, or something like that. Pretty crazy!

I believe he was referring to it specifically for SF4, and I tend to agree. It's definitely not great for anything requiring a circular movement.

Do you play as Ken all the time? That will probably help.
God I hate people who always play as Ken.

I just doesn't work for me. My half build custom stick is currently doing a better job of letting me peform specials and ultras and the joystick is not even fastened to the board behind it
The PS3 pad is pretty good in most cercumstances, but in the heat of battle, it seems to let me down too much.
Am I putting poor SFIV skills down to my pad? Maybe.
Does a bad workman blame his tools? Certainly
