    Finally started playing ME2 recently.

    Liking it a lot, though I am suffering a little from the usual old school RPG "I wish I had chosen X character class instead of Y character class, and now its too late and the game won't let me change my mind" syndrome. I'm sure I'll get over it :)

    I'm gutted I recently started a third play through in ME and now can't import the character into ME2... why did I do it, whhhyyyy!!!!!!!!!!
  • menage #4 2 years ago

    @Anthony

    Lite? Whatever. I wonder how many copies they actually sold.

    Yay for ME2!

    He havent played it. Poor attempt of fanboy baiting thats all.
    ME2 and Bayonetta is my two favourite games this gen.
  • the_dudefather #6 2 years ago

    @telboy007

    needs to be a finished game save file
  • telboy007 #7 2 years ago

    Aye I know, its the trudge through a complete ME game so I can import him in - I just can't bring myself to do it!
  • miiiguel #8 2 years ago

    @ menage: my ignore won't work if you do that...
  • kendoji #9 2 years ago

    Fap fap Bioware fap fap fap.
  • menage #10 2 years ago

    @milliguel

    I'll stop doing that then:D

    @muscleblade

    Gen is maybe something I'll say in 6 months time, you know, when I'm detoxed fom all the crack they've been feeding me. But they sure as hell are brilliant.

    For a '6' Dante's Inferno comming in forth is good news at least - proves a point that many still don't take a reviewer's word as 'the law' and only use them as a guide as they should be taken as, props to it, shame it's only a one off but then again the money is going to Dead Space 2 so it's all good
  • Kapo! #12 2 years ago

    Good to see Dante's Inferno doing so well. I thoroughly enjoyed the demo, even though I don't usually like hack-n-slash games. It looks as though Bayonetta has flopped, but my impression from the demo was that it was a quirky game, but a total mind-f**k.

    Hmm glad to see mass effect 2 going strong deserves every sell.

    Pity Bayonetta's falling but then its very um Japan as a game so I doubt it was ever going to set the charts alight, still brillant and due to the previous comments I decided to have a look around Sega claims 1.1 million worldwide thats respectible and Platinum have mentioned the desire to do more with the IP which I hope they do.

    @telboy007

    After i completed ME2 i started a new playthrough of ME. I completed it on Insanity in 6 hours. If you need a completed save file just play the main quest. Thats the best part of the game after all.

    Yup loving the game, best I've played this gen, it's a a sci-fi fans dream, but playing ME2 without playing ME1 first, is like watching Empire Strikes Back without seeing A New Hope first.
  • muscleblade #16 2 years ago

    "Playing ME2 without playing ME1 first, is like watching Empire Strikes Back without seeing A New Hope first."

    Agreed. I also think its important to play as a imported character as your choices in ME really carries over.
  • malexous #17 2 years ago

    Just Dance top of the individual chart.
  • spekkeh #18 2 years ago

    Dante's Infourno cracked me up, well played.
  • spekkeh #19 2 years ago

    I'd say if you dislike Fallout 3 (according to many the best game of 2008), but still manage to enjoy ME2, which is in many regards very similar to F3, that THAT's saying something.

    Well deserved again Bioware.

    Good to see DA:o still in the top 40 aswell.
  • ignatiusjreilly #21 2 years ago

    If you're playing on PC, you can find save-games of pretty much every possible permutation here: [link url=http://www.masseffect saves.com/

    Very handy for a second playthrough (or even a first, if you made some decisions you really regret).
  • UncleLou #22 2 years ago

    It's a great collection for sure, but reading the info about the files I had a) realised I had forgotten most of the finer details of the first game, and b) the one file which was (as far as I could remember) closest to my playthrough had a name I just couldn't use (you can't change the name). ;)
  • muscleblade #23 2 years ago

    @menage

    You have a point about the crack. It feels like a long time since i completed them though so i think i can say that they are on top of my list this gen. I completed Bayonetta 4 times in a row. Never done that with a game of decent lenght before.

    Wow MAG still holding in there...GOOD! Bought the game at the weekend and it's awesome, fully deserving of the sales.
  • TRUTH #26 2 years ago

    Bayonetta is the best hack & slash combo fighter RIGHT NOW! - and has for sure set a standard that all others to follow inc GoW III!!...Combo's, action, boss battles, skill, speed makes this game one of the best, if not, the best in it's genre!

    ...Also don't judge a game by the bloody demo's...I would have missed out on some of the best games if I just judged them by the demo such as: Fight Night 4 (best boxing game but needs a bit of time to understand 'Total Control' = demo did put me off, now can't live witout it), Battelfield, Batman AA (so much more then what the demo allows you to play, F.E.A.R 2 (personally as fps singleplayer is so much better then MW2 - also the demo did not present this) etc etc.

    Glad though to see the most overhyped MW2 drop...This was a decent fps but nothing above Half Life 2, Halo, F.E.A.R, Bioshock etc etc.
