UK charts: Gran Turismo still in lead

Full Chart-Track top 40 inside.

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue has held onto the top spot in the UK All Formats Chart for the second week running.

It leads a largely unchanged chart shaken only gently by fresh releases Condemned 2 at five and Dark Sector at 11.

Otherwise it was Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games at two, followed by Rainbow Six Vegas 2 at three and Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 at four.

Then came Guitar Hero III at six, Viking: Battle for Asgard at seven, Wii Play at eight and Brain Training at nine.

Call of Duty 4 tumbled to its lowest point in weeks to round the chart out at 10.

Big movers this week are the dismal Game Party jumping from 32 up to 15, Bully: Scholarship Edition falling from 13 to 26, and Command & Conquer 3 expansion Kane's Wrath falling from 16 to 28.

FIFA Street 3 is the most notable name leaving the list this week.

Not bad for a demo with no damage modelling.

shame I find it so dull...I really tried to like it! I downloaded blast factor and am playing that instead.

Or the ability to invite friends online...

That must surely be the first PS3 exclusive to reach the no. 1 spot?

Impressed that New Super Mario Bros is just outside the top 20 after being out all this time

Given that Pro Evo Wii is the reason it's gone up to number 4, bit harsh to leave Wii off the format list!

Should I pick up Condemned 2? The first one had some cool stuff.

Can someone write a macro that will insert "its a demo" comments in anything vaguely Gran Turismo related?
Will save precious man hours and reduce carbon emissions.

    @ Xerx3s

Yeah Condemned 2 is great! A bit different than the first but still creepy as hell (only to be played in the dark!). The new fighting takes some getting used to at first but works well.

It's good to see SEGA release some really strong titles across all platforms lately (and some Dreamcast recognition with Ikaruga, House of the Dead 2 etc), now if only they'd do Dreamcast 2!

Viking Battle for Asgard still in the Top Ten... YEAH!!! Looks like most people didn't listen to GameSpot and Eurogamer, thank goodness! :)

yes Condemned 2 is worth it, still consider first one creepier but got few great scares! More critical to get a 'gold' ranking for each level as would give you a more useful upgrades such as hand knife instead of just knuckleduster. So more replayability (IF not using any guide but your own noggins) and better use of investigative detections this time around.

GT4P sells on its brand name more than anything, yes I did consider the game losing some shine by its missing elements which are pretty standard nowdays (deformations etc), however its still a good racing/driving title.
