UK charts: FIFA still top of the table

Flashpoint, Scribblenauts best debutants.

FIFA 10 has scored a second week at the top of the UK all-formats chart, shrugging off a strong tackle from Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising at two.

That war game becomes Codemasters' fastest-ever seller, and builds on a strong run started by Ashes Cricket 2009 and Colin McRae: DiRT 2.

Layton, ODST and Guitar Hero all cling-on to top 10 spots and are joined by Gran Turismo PSP, which shifts up a gear to seven.

Inventive DS game Scribblenauts misses out at 12, but beats fellow newcomers Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes (dreadful, remember) and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (DS) at 15 and 17, respectively.

Further down and Up, confusingly, makes a second-week impact at 26. The film is brilliant, for those who haven't seen it.

Bizarrely, Mario & Luigi 3: Bowser's Inside Story doesn't make the top 40, and has to settle for ninth in the DS-specific list.

Wii games Spore Hero and Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility also have disappointing first weeks, finishing at 28 and 38 on the Wii top 40.
