Hope this turns out good.

I would hunt down SOS for PS2 to wet my appetite but my PS2 is dying!

"and Ubisoft is promising that "players will be challenged to think, react and take risks that will directly affect themselves and those around them".

Dont think my next door neighbours will be to happy to hear that.

Reminded me of Beneath A Steel Sky for some reason, but I very much doubt it's going to be a PnC. Looks promising though.

Assassin's Creed was NOT shit!! It wasn't the masterpiece it could have been, but calling it shit is unfair. Very decent game, despite the flaws.

And more Jade, please.

I also quite enjoyed Assassin's Creed. It was too repetitive, but it wasn't as bad as the lashback makes it sound.

Assassin's Creed was a good engine looking for a game.

The lack of variety in what you did killed the game within a couple of missions after you realized it had nothing new to show you after that. Repetion in itself would not be so bad if it were not for how dull and unrewarding each thing you had to repeat was.

Sorry to chime in with more Assassin's Creed hate, but I'm with glaeken on this one.

Yes, I bought it, but I found it to be very very empty and disappointing.

The constant looping of the incidental dialogue was utterly criminal (not to mention brain breaking). How in shit did that get past playtesting?? Did they just not care?

That was enough to make me wary of pre-ordering Ubisoft titles in the future.

Yes, it was repetitive, we all know that. But tell me you weren't filled with murderous glee the first time you learned to master the counter-move? Or that you weren't jaw-droppingly impressed the first time you found one of those eagle spots and the world spun around you? For the first two or three missions, the game was absolutely fantastic! After that.. not so much.
