Need. Patch. NOW!

The framerate in this "game" is a joke!

I specifically haven't touched it as I'm holding out on the patch, in the hope that it fixes just about everything...

The game is a broken mess technically anyway and I very much doubt a patch will fix all the crippling issues like the stuttering 10 fps framerate, especially as there've been numerous patches already for the PC version (the 360 game used the latest build). It's not a bad game as such once you learn to tolerate the issues but it's clearly been built with PCs in mind not the 360. As such if you want to play this game, you'd be better advised to buy it for the PC which is much cheaper, making these issues more forgiveable.

I certainly hope so. I bought the game the other day (360 version), figuring I would give it a shot despite the bad press, but I simple had to give up after an hour thanks to the splitting headache I was getting, courtesy of the abysmal framerates.

You can often blame your own slightly outdated graphics card if you get those kinds of problems in a PC game (I know I often do :p), but anything less than a steady 25-30 fps is just completely unacceptable in a console version.

I very much doubt that will fix the framerate issues, BBIAJ, beyond improving it slightly and, if it does, then you'd have to ask why the developers released the game so broken in first place. ;)

I suspect the game will still stutter and pause, just not as much maybe. OK, so any improvement is welcome but it probably won't miraculously eliminate them entirely. That said, I'd so love to be proven wrong but I don't think the developers have the talent to be honest. It's clear to me that they don't know how to get the best out of the 360 and at a guess I'd say they just dumped the PC engine onto the system and just turned down the graphics settings to get it running and actually did very little optimisation.

I'll be downloading this. Should be interesting to see just how bad a game it really is.

Will there be a re-review of the game after the patch? It would be nice to have some more peoply try it as it is a much better game than the press suggested.

Maybe try using less "Oblivion wannabe" comments.....

Games get one chance to impress and get people to buy it and that is when the review is done. If you screw up in a major way for launch and rely on patching, then you also have to rely on word of mouth to get people to buy the game.

I tried the demo, but it just had so many things that felt unfinished, or just poor design choices that it put me off buying the game. If I hadn't tried the demo I would have bought it at release

My god it's crap. Switched it off the moment my character started running in a random direction if I was to so much as blow on the left stick. have they bothered calibrating it at all?

And what's with the Mortal Kombat blood?

Horrible.

This demo has to be the worst advertisment for a product in the history of the world! Is this supposed to actually entice people to buy the full game!

Man that is one BAD game, the voice acting was laughable amongst other glaring problems, how was this allowed to be released?

Was it just me, or did the devs actually say their fighting engine had more depth than Oblivion's in a magazine preview?

If so, then I really have to laugh XD
