Two new WAR classes this winter
Cut careers to return. Tanks very much.
Mythic has announced that it's bringing two new classes to Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning "this winter", which we guess means by Christmas.
The careers - two of the four that were cut, along with four capital cities, from the game's original launch plans - are the both heavily-armoured tanking classes: the Empire's Knight of the Blazing Sun on the Order side, and the Dark Elf Black Guard on the Destruction side.
The Knight of the Blazing Sun is described as a tactical leader using Battlefield Commands, while the Black Guard is simply "the embodiment of hatred and disdain".
The arrival of the two new careers will mean that every race in the game has a damage-taking tanking archetype. Of the originally planned careers, only the Dwarf Hammerer and Greenskin Choppa, both melee damage-dealers, will remain on the cutting room floor.
