Oh god dammit.

I was pissed when Jowood canned the fps shooter! And although the screens for this were pretty weird and confusing, I still wanted to log in to the beast.

troubling to Stargate fans

Yes. Yes, it is.

The one MMO is was properly looking forward to. I was so going to a roll a Jaffa called M'bar.

*crosses fingers that it still will happen*

The world needs more Stargate games, period. But I really wanted this MMO to come out this year...

I was really annoyed when they screwed over the developer who were working on a previous game, so they could start this one.
Now I'm even MORE pissed off with them for messing this up, when we could have had a finished game back in 2007 if they'd not messed about with this.

But screw it, stargate's over. Dead and buried. They killed it off a long time ago and this new, uninspired, unoriginal series they're working on should guarantee that after it gets cancelled halfway in, we'll never see the stargate franchise again until they pull a Galactica and do a remake 20 years from now.

@mingster: If I recall it was a horror film... :)

Shame really - this showed some promise.

Hooray. The film was a steaming pile of excrement, and the Stargate TV phenomenon is one of the great universal mysteries (like Bones) where a wank TV series seems to get renewed ad nauseum despite being utter bollocks. (I still don't understand wtf Stephen Fry was doing - must have been a ginormous paycheck).
