Turning Point date narrowed down News

PC Xbox PlayStation 3

27 February, 2008

Codemasters has said Turning Point: Fall of Liberty will be out in Europe on 14th March.

That puts an end to worries of a length delay after developer Spark Unlimited promised it was taking negative demo feedback on board and sprucing up the final version.

Retailers had it pipped for a 29th February release, you see, but Codemasters was reluctant to stand by that date.

Now the confusion is at an end and, considering many demos are compiled early on in development cycles and consequently miss months of improvements, perhaps we were making a mountain out of a molehill.

Turning Point is a first-person shooter based around the idea that Winston Churchill was run over by a taxi and killed, removing his considerable influence on World War II.

Without him Hitler would have remained unchecked in Europe and gone on to try and conquer US soil, apparently.

You star as an American construction worker who finds himself in the middle of a Nazi invasion and must use all your street-smarts to bash their fascist faces in. Use the drill, use the drill.

You might have heard of it through the historical search for taxi driver Mario Constasino's family - he was the one that knocked Churchill over, but wasn't going fast enough to squish him.

Turning Point: Fall of Liberty is heading to PC, PS3 and 360. Expect our final thoughts closer to the time.

This is a really below-average, sub-par, pre-good, proto-decent, half-arsed.....actually it's just complete shit.

Hurray for bland, mediocre shooters: where would the Xbox 360 and PS3 be without them! LOL

I think in Edge #186 the developer said this game was made in 9 months.
