Elegant villainess stars in Mercs Reunion.

Capcom has revealed one of the new playable characters for Mercenaries Reunion, the new version of the Mercenaries mode included in the Gold Edition of Resident Evil 5 or in a series of DLC releases over the next few months.

The new character is Excella Gionne, who is corrupt chief executive of the Tricell corporation, and who also happens to be a curvy lady in a revealing cocktail dress. Screens show her dispatching zombies with high-heeled kicks and an SMG.

We don't yet know which of the four upcoming DLC packs she'll be included with: Lost in Nightmares or the attendant Costume Pack 1 on 17th February, or Desperate Escape / Costume Pack 2 on 3rd March.

The whole lot can be purchased, along with the original game, on the Gold Edition of Resident Evil 5, which is released for PS3 and Xbox 360 on 12th March.

Excella? She never was really that interesting, and got her inevitable just desserts. Still, if she has unique animations I guess there's no harm.
Never pegged her as a fighter though...

I feel the strongest point of this DLC is Ms Jill Valentine and her trip with Chris to that eerie mansion/castle, I hope that section is at the least, a good few hours.

The game is a good few hours. This is maybe an hour and a half each.

Still buying of course. Looove the game.

@StooMonster - the DLC will be available as a package yes.

Alas, this was going to contain the motion control stuff (for arc) too but that'll be DLC for Christmas I guess.

I was a big fan of RE4 and I felt just the same when I first got RE5 at launch. Played through the first couple chapters then just couldnt be botherd to play any further. However I just recently decided to give it another go and for some reason this time have really enjoyed it. I'm actualy on my 3rd playthrough! (achievement whoring admitedly)
