@LR100 Same here. They should offer the Big Pack for free to those who already own the game or as an extra incentive to purchase, then it would be worth it
No they should not.

Also, while I can understand that those who bought it at full price would be frustrated at this, it's nothing new in any market. Prices come down all the time for any number of reasons. If it were the other way round and the price had increased, no one would be queueing up to hand over the difference. Sales are there to encourage people to purchase things that otherwise they would not have done, not as a personal slight against anyone who paid more.

Excellent game.

The thing is though, 1200 points is near enough £10, which isn't all that much to spend on a good game. I suspect that people perceive it as being more since 1200 is over the 1000 point threshold. The same logic is what sees all prices stop one pence before the actual price to make it seem cheaper. £9.99 seems less than £10.00 because there's one fewer digit involved. The difference between 800 and 1200 is about the cost of a pint, and that lasts way less longer than most games do.

If games did cost 800 points, then that means I can afford to have another pint down the pub. However with the way that alcohol tax is going, I think I will be buying my beer from the supermarket in future. Some places are up to £3 a pint!! I'd hate to see what people in London are paying. *shudder*
