I must be missing something. I played the Indiana Jones demo, and felt an overwhelming sense of "meh". Just seemed to be a really run of the mill platform game with some annoying "I can't jump on the ledge because there's rocks hitting me, and I can't tell if the angle is right" moments.

Maybe I'm old and even grumpier than I thought?

I tried one of the Star Wars games recently on my DS.
The game is sort of brainless fun and very easy.
I think it's mainly for parents to play with their kids and have fun.

Not much there for a 30+ year old hardcore player but to each their own. ;)

Any chance of said future Lego games not being shite? Or am I the only one who prefers games to have a camera that let me see what the fuck I'm doing?

They need a Lego Lord of the Rings.

Lego Indy was meh

Lego Star wars was awesome.

The reason....supernatural powers. Imagine a lego gandalf! would rock!

Would love them to do a sequel to Haven, but think this is extremely unlikely. Was I one of the few that enjoyed it?

He clearly says that they've started work on new LEGO games using Warner IP. So it's WB-owned characters, with a decent sized cast, all with abilities or personalities that would translate well to the established LEGO game framework.

So...I'd put money on LEGO Scooby Doo arriving sometime in 2009.

And maybe LEGO Looney Tunes.

A volcano made of fish, or a volcano for cooking fish? Or a volcano shaped like a fish?

Or a volcano that tasted of fish?

TT hasn't made a decent game in yonks. They excel in the presentation department (Sonic 3D, Toy Story etc all looked lovely), but their gameplay isn't up to scratch.

Warner IPs, huh? Well, could we be seeing Lego Harry Potter and Lego The Matrix on their way soon?

@ SirDespard - no, I also enjoyed Haven, even though it was quite heavily flawed. Still, would love to see another in the series.

I personally look forward to many more LEGO games, yes there brainless and easy.. but i think they represent the pinnacle of casual gaming. Offering easy gameplay but nice challenges that bring something to table for the more hardcore gamer!

I'd like a LEGO Ghostbusters, or a LEGO Back To The Future Trilogy, but I'm guessing that neither will ever happen, so buh...
