I've also done pretty serious things to my body. It's when you do them in public that you get in trouble.

"Really, my main job is to keep it authentic."

Not sure he's doing too well there...

"...assign him tricks I can't do in real life so I can watch myself do these tricks I could never ever do."

I love the guy very much (in a non-gay way) and I also love the first three THPS games as from THPS4 things went downhill; even Project 8 wasn't that good despite the marvellous yet underused Nail the Trick feature.

However, you know when the new Tony Hawk's isn't going to be very good if IGN gave it a low 7.1 and an even lower score from GameSpot at 6.5 (they gave THPS3 the 10/10!).

It seems that Skate has paved the way to show how it should be done yet I still am considering picking the new one up; you can't do all the rather ridiculous tricks for minutes on end in Skate quite like you can in Tony Hawk's.

Good interview though!

I was waiting for the "Have you tried EA's Skate?" question.

I don't think the game is authentic at all though. For starters, I think it's illiegal to skate on the streets in most (all?) cities in the State's. So that's a big problem for a start. I understand how you sorta, gotta forget about that though for the sake of the game.

I like how the other games played in his house are Transformers and Guitar Hero. Stick to the company line Tony... Activision ftw, etc.
