I don't think we need another review of this excellent game, but perhaps include the Wii version in a round-up clarifying how competent the port is and how well the Wii controls work.

It's a great game, won't be buying it on Wii though as i have the PS2 version.

Funny you should say that.. if you look on metacritic, the wii has more exclusive games rated 9/10 than the 360 or ps3. So yeah.. more ports is exactly what it needs (Whereas the other two need more exclusives i wouldve thought) |

How many 10/10 games does the Wii have smelly? lol Listen guys, it's great that you love your little Wiis but please quit with the hyperbole, yeah? |

Well, a look at Metacritic seems to suggest that while it wasn't the highest-scoring version of the game, many reviewers seemed to think that the control scheme was indeed the best of all versions. The comments thread to the review on EG mostly agrees. In the end, wether one likes a control scheme or not is pretty much a personal opinion. I can only say that I'm currently playing RE4 and having a hell of a time with it. And I didn't particularly like the pad-controlled Resident Evils. All I'm saying is the same could be the case with this new Tomb Raider. |

OK so what you're saying is that Tomb Raider on the Wii could be the best version of the game in your personal opinion. If you had said that in the first place, there would be no confusion.
I did not like the Wii controls of RE4 on the Wii and neither did EG (if the majority of reviewers had believed the new control mechanism to be a significant improvement I'm sure it would show on Metacritic, however, it does not) |
