News by Kristan Reed

15 July, 2008

Eidos has told Eurogamer that Tomb Raider Underworld will be released across Europe on 21st November - three days after it goes on sale in the US.

The latest Lara Croft adventure was previously given a November date, but it's always nice to get an early warning on which days to book off work.

As you'll have read from our most recent preview, the game is shaping up nicely. Check back soon for more on Tomb Raider Underworld, including a hands-on with previous unseen portions of the game.

The ninth Lara Croft adventure will be released on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PC, DS and PS2 and "will not slip", according to Eidos' spokesperson. So there.

"Tomb Raider Underworld"

No Kate Beckinsale = no sale.

When will publishers learn?

Digital knockers! Hurrah! More seriously, I wonder if they'll sort out the face. She looks a bit odd in recent promo shots.

TR: Legend was a good blast and she was definitely back on form. I'm looking forward to this one.

Why no PSP version?

Pity, I played Anniversary on PS2, PC and PSP and the latter was the best one. It just felt right on the system, once you'd discovered the secret free-look button.

I guess there are too many folks making and using "back-ups" for the poor old PSP to be viable in the West.

Shame on you all (you know who you are).

I hope the PS2 version is up to scratch, as I might have to get it if I don't have a current-gen machine by then.

Dated? That's a bit harsh, we haven't even played it yet.
