Go on Eidos release a 360 version, you know you want to.
If I am forced to buy the PC version I will have to rent "Cars" to make up the achievement point loss.

I'm not convinced that Tomb Raider Anniversary would benefit from having Wiimote controls... I mean Zelda: Twilight Princess didn't IMO... but, right now, the console needs every decent game it can get.
I'd still rather have a PS3 or Xbox 360 version though... if I'm going to play a classic remake then I'd rather go the whole hog and have Tomb Raider: Legend-style graphics makeover to match the terrific level design and gameplay of the original. |

Why on earth would anyone want a retro game updated to last-gen machines ported to their shiny new consoles?
Surely 360 and PS3 are better off without more lazy "now in HD!!!11!" conversions? |

iiiiiiiiiiiiiiii This would be no good for the PS3 / Xbox 360... they need to do a new Tomb Raider for those formats to take advantage of the power on offer... Infact Im surprised Sony havent paid them LOADS of money to make a PS3 exclusive Tomb Raider in an atempt to generate the same feelings and hype that surrounded Tomb Raider on the PS1! |

Why make a game for the PS2 and Wii; but not for the 2 most important consoles of this generation? Ok the PS2 has user base of over 100 million and the Wii has sold about 3 million consoles; so the Wii is more important than the 360 with 20 million users and the PS3 with 5 million users?
I want to play Tomb Raiders and look at Laura Croft's arse and say "Wow" not "WTF" the Wii is rubbish and it should be banned. |

Becasue they aren't the 2 most important consoles in terms of dev costs and return on investment. I've seen publishers changing their mind about platform as they see the terrible performance of the PS3 then work out the dev costs for that platform. Hence most seem to be going with the PS2/wii combination. You're just going to have to accept that cutting edge technology doesn't automatically mean the console is the "most important", especially in terms of developing games for that platform. |

I think someone needs to do their math PS2 : Appx 120 million Wii : 7 million 360: 10 million Ps3 : 3 million So erm, yes, i'd say the wii was just as important as the 360. To take full advantage of the 360 (i.e. to make it worth buying for 360 owners) would cost a lot of money. To make a wii version is (in comparision) going to be cheap. Take the pc version running in low res, make that work on the wii. Or (the lazy way) take the ps2 version, with the pc's textures, and a few other minor improvements to take advantage of the extra graphical power.

The Wii really needs some decent games! Of all 3 next (now)-gen consoles: Wii is the weakest on games!...The problem is that third party developers games are not selling well on Wii. 360 seems to have plenty of top 10 on both Europe & US of A, with third party games. When was the last time you saw a Wii game that's not by Nintendo in the charts.
