Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 demo on Live

It's a big one.

A sneaky Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 demo has crept onto Xbox Live.

The file's a whopping 2GB, and is only available to Gold subscribers. You can queue the demo for download from the Xbox.com website.

There's no word on what the demo offers.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11, the full package, has a Ryder Cup mode for 24 people online and will support PlayStation Move.

The game's due out on PS3, Wii and Xbox 360 on 2nd July.

Hopefully it includes the South Park version of the game.

This game has been really disappointing this gen. It hasn't reached the heights of Tiger Woods '04 and '05 on the PS2/Gamecube/Xbox. I really hope this'll be good as i'm still playing '05 on the Gamecube.

Kudos to EA for sticking with Tiger Woods as well. Whilst I don't condone his actions, we have all made mistakes.

You could maybe find out? Make an actual news story out of it.

EA won't be getting any more of my money for their sports games seeings how theyll soon be totally worthless trade in wise as the online play will have been crippled.

Dont fucking sell me something then make sure I cant do what I want with it afterwards you scum of the earth

I know what the demo will offer, no challenge unfortunately :/

Been disappointed with every iteration for a while now. While they are impressive they are just too easy. Sort it out Peter!

Good tactic taken from Tiger's real life sneaking about skills then?

This man talks with the fresh minty breath of a winner. '04 rocked.

Now here's a game where cheating is allowed.

6 months. It happened 6 months ago. How can a celebrity affair still be interesting after this time.

    PLEASE NO MORE

We are talking about a man who hits little balls around with a metal stick in fields for a living. His bumming of cheap tarts is always going to be the main talking point from now until the end of his prematurely bald life.

You are a very angry man.

Indeed, haven't played a TW game as much since. Their best in the series I reckon

Always preferred the links games, especially the one on xbox. Damn you ea for forcing ms to get rid of their sports division!

Got bored of the Tiger Woods games two years ago when I realised that the only thing about the game that really changes each year is the number on the front of the box and title screen!
  • knightmt #17 2 years ago

I do not know how they keep releasing this game, oh damn I keep buying it.
This game does not need the one use code, as they sell you half the courses and then bring out a new version so that you cannot use them.

This is a game where the online play is balls.

Don't Eurogamer post news about PSN? I thought EA announced this was coming to both platforms today.

Hole in three, 7 iron, 3 wood, good putting, in the rough etc etc.

Well - anyone actually tried the demo yet? Is it any good? I haven't tried a PGA Tour game on this gen.

I think some people came on here JUST to make Tiger Woods jokes.

I also think some people came on here JUST to see if anyone has made Tiger Woods jokes with the sole intention of berating them.

Oh you comment scamps - the lot of you! :)

I downloaded it last night and had a quick go before I went to bed. It's pretty good, there is now a concentration meter, you choose where you want to hit the ball before you hit it, a new view to read the course better, graphics are not much different, there are 2 courses on the demo. You unlock experience points which carry over onto the full game.

I only played for about 10 mins.. Will have another go after work.

It wad about 1.7 gig if i remember rightly.
