Tiger Woods dated, PS3 supports Arc
Plus: Ryder Cup, new cover star, more.
EA Sports has announced that Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 will be released for iPhone, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360 on 8th June.
What's more, the PS3 version is one of the first games to confirm support for the PS3 Motion Controller, thought to be called Arc.
Tiger 11 also features the Ryder Cup, allowing you to control US or European teams in a variety of scenarios both online and off.
You will be able to take part in foursomes, fourballs and singles matches, and offline you can switch between matches to control everyone's destiny.
This year's cover will also now feature Tiger Woods and Northern Ireland golfer Rory McIlroy to reflect the Ryder Cup influence (and not because of Tiger's wandering wood).
Other new features include an online teamplay mode for up to 24 players on PS3 and Xbox 360.
On Wii, there are also control changes to enhance the game's utilisation of Wii MotionPlus. The "Advanced Plus" option reads club rotation and angle, while Tour Pro adopts a first-person view and considers club rotation, swing plane and point of contact.
There's no further word on the PS3 Motion Controller options, but perhaps we'll hear more tonight at Sony's GDC press conference, which takes place at 4pm PST (midnight in old money).

I just hope the game includes women players.
It would feel awkward otherwise... or not, never know until tried at least once

I'm sure the newly introduced 'Ryd-er' Cup will have some part to play here!

Will Tiger Woods 12 and Natal work with real Golf clubs?
I bet people will end up holding something when using Natal, like a plate while playing Forza.

The two systems are so different that I'm doubtful we'll see many games support both.
So far Yoga for Natal and Golf for Arc announced.
These new controllers are looking a little gimmicky at the moment aren't they? They each have a lineup reveal on the way though so hopefully the last of us will be converted then.

That's the question, eh?
What types of peripherals (if any) will work DIRECTLY with Natal - allowing accurate tracking??
Let's wait and see...
