THQ's Rocket Riot for XBLA next Wed News

THQ plans to release hectic multiplayer shooter Rocket Riot on Xbox Live Arcade next Wednesday 17th June.
Characters have rocket boosters instead of legs and fly around blowing each other and just about anything to pieces. A maximum of eight friends can duke it out online, and be anything from pirates to ninjas to soldiers to bananas to American footballers and more.
Although pixellated and 2D, Rocket Riot clearly uses modern tech with an eye for retro styling. Characters and environments have a 3D depth to them, and the action is as coherent as it is fast and furious.

6 great classics for 400 points each. Nobody can complain about the prices for these gems with added achievements.
I have all of them on the Megadrive Collection except Gunstar Heroes though. edit: EG isnt this better news than this article. No mention of 6 new xbla games on the same day anywhere on the site.

Shock! EG now biased for PS3 and fallen out of love with X360!! /Irony mode off EG has always been a gamer focused site, when PS2 was more dominant and naturally its reported a bit more on PS2 front compared to Xbox, as there were more newsworthy items. Maybe it will reports Sega item or left it to Friday's 'This week games' article. |
