THQ registers Red Faction domains
Armageddon, Origins...
THQ has hoovered up some new Red Faction domain names that may or may not point to the name of Guerrilla's successor.
The eagle eyes of Superannuation fell upon registrations for redfactionarmageddon.com, redfactionorigins.com and a few typo variations.
THQ has yet to name the follow-up to last year's solid and occasionally spectacular Red Faction: Guerrilla, although it has said to expect the game's release before April 2011.
This week we also heard that the publisher has joined forces with Syfy to produce a two-hour TV movie based on the franchise, which could potentially become a TV series, and that the channel would collaborate on the next game too.
We've asked THQ if it can comment on the domain acquisitions.

I hope it has armageddons in it, I was disappointed with the lack of gorillas in the last game.

In fact other than the over agressive AI at times, I can't really think of much I'd like to change.

"Speaking in an interview with CVG, VP of Core Games, Danny Bilson confirmed that the next Faction will be released this year and said that "it's different from the last one but similar."
He commented: "It's sort of a combo of the old one and the new one, so it's... I don't want my marketing guy to be pissed at me for giving away too much, but it goes back underground and it's really cool.""
