anyone got a beta key/account they wouldn't mind giving out?

I'm guessing beta keys will no longer work. GPG have said they're working on a demo, but I'd imagine that's quite low on the priority list at the moment.

Excellent. Although, to be honest, connectivity has been vastly improved for a short while now.
It's a great game. Where is Eurogamers review?

It's only out in Europe at retail by May 15th, right in time for all the connectivity problems to be solved I guess. Europe is probably the biggest PC retail market in the world as well so I don't find the lack of a Eurogamer review to be so illogical.

Atari is doing the marketing for the EU version so maybe they haven't sent out a copy yet.

I bought the game when it first came out on Stardock, wasn't very pleased with it whatsoever.
If you do the tournament you do 8 different maps with either capture the flag or destory their citadel thing on it.
Once that is over, that's it. Not so much as a cutscene with the chosen Demigod once you win the tournament.
Also whatever upgrades you had gotten on the previous map doesn't carry over, you have to start all over again.

Maybe. But then you do see Eurogamer reviewing imports from time to time. Sins of a Solar Empire was reviewed before it even had an EU publisher.

"Furthermore, Wardell says anyone purchasing the game now will be offered a second copy of Demigod for half-price for "a limited time".

I went to their digital site and 2 copies cost twice as much as 1.

Anyone know how to get this "2 for 1.5" offer?

[EDIT]

Seems you get a voucher when you buy it.
