Thug-punching will have to wait.

Midway has decided GTA rival This is Vegas is better off in 2009, according to its latest financial statement.

The PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 game had been expected this autumn, but no reason was given for the delay. Perhaps the move was made to unclog what interim Midway boss Matt Booty called "possibly our strongest holiday line-up in recent years" in the money report.

This is Vegas, developed by Surreal Studio, presents a bachelor-party story of you making your name in a world full of freaky-dancing, thug-punching, tit-squirting madness.

on the ball today EG, this delay was reported by Joystiq on the 2nd of July, over a month ago!!

Oh christ. I saw a trailer walkthrough type thing for this a while back.

Jesus, it felt like I was living in the 80s again, surrounded by one of those interactive movie games, where the whole "isn't it cool" pitch seems to have been far more important than the fun actually available through the gmers fingertips.
