5 days late.....

And this is NOT the enhanced edition patch, thats coming later.

Great game though, but tough as hell sometimes, and a bitch to run on anything other than a top notch system

It's the Price of Neutrality, not Prince. And it's actually pretty good even though there's not a huge amount to do in it.

It says its not totally compatable with old save. Being that im half way through the game i wasnt very happy. Took the plunge anyway and updated and (touches huge amount of wood) its working fine.

Does anyone know what possible compatability issues there are and if anything may screw up later in the game?

I updated last week and all ok still at the mo.

The game is based off of Neverwinter Nights so I assume it has the same patch issues as that. Basically the module is stored in the saved file, once something is loaded into your current game then that's it, it's there for good. This means that if you've already been in an area then any changes to that area from the new patch won't take effect.

So basically if you continue a game after patching, what you've already encountered will be the unpatched version and all the new stuff will be patched. Which could lead to some strange behaviour, but probably won't and if you make it to a new Act you should be good.

So is the new content mixed in with the storyline of the game, or a completely separate module? Do characters move between them or is it a start-from-scratch, discard-after-two-hours-play thing?

Waiting for the enhanced edition...

Completely separate module to play. It's fun, it's free, and keeps one occupied while other users create interesting web 2.0 (or are we at web 3.0 yet?) modules and the more than welcome enhanced edition comes along. Two thumbs upp for CD Projekt Red and their customer service, which actually is customer service.

Me, I want to do something in D'jinni, have a nice idea for it, but don't think the time is there in
any shape or form.
