The Sims 3 to be revealed soon

According to Sims man.

Electronic Arts is working on The Sims 3, according to Sims studio creative director Rod Humble.

Speaking on the QuarterToThree forum, often a hotbed of industry gossip, Humble said: "For Sims 3 there will be new information soon."

This comes in the same week that EA's Nancy Smith said to expect a pair of new MySims Wii and DS games this year, along with SimCity Creator and SimAnimals.

Humble mentions those too, and adds that apart from The Sims 2 Freetime, there are no new Sims 2 SKUs planned for this year.

Indeed, he says there will be fewer Sims products over all than in 2007.
