I just purchased this on PS3 for £2.20 or something cause i used some GAME points i had left laying around..although it's £19.37 or something over on that website..and you can't beat a bit of old-school platforming at Christmas..surely saying it's just about worth the price at £34.99-£39.99 means that at £20 it's worth picking up?
Good review though, i bare all this in mind and lower expectations. :) |

So then. Spyro. If you've got even this far, chances are your mind recalls the golden days of Spyro's reign on the original PlayStation. Days spent in a colourful platform world of gliding dragons, cutesy combat and endless collection. Well, shame on you for living in the past, you Luddite. Spyro has moved on. All that childish fun, charm and enjoyment have been replaced by A-list voice talent, a set of brawling moves and a shiny new suit.
Yes I do remember those days - damn good they were too. I haven't played any Spyro games outside of the excellent PS1 trilogy so I won't comment on these new 'Legend' games but I have the feeling I'd be crushingly disappointed with how much the series has changed over the years. |

Having a second player does improve things, it makes the game a little easier and a lot less frustrating in parts, but exacerbates the technical issues and makes it even harder to see what's going on.
