^^ Yawn. Get a grip.
You don't like it thats fine. Don't need to tell the whole world though do you?
What do you class as a "grown ups" game anyway?

This looks pretty damn good.

Now all we need is a Left 4 dead port for the Wii and we're in zombie heaven. It will never happen, but one can wish eh?

Biggest decision is whether to buy the boxed set or the stand alone game, either way, looks good.

cool. Been waiting for a classy on rails and this really looks like it could be the one for me. No i didn;t read the reviews for the other ones but the graphics looked spank on those ones but this looks like i'm going to have to invest.

IGN-US weighed in with an 8.3. Take that score, toss away the false precision, and you've got another 8. Looks like *the* light-gun shooter so far. What I've seen definitely looks a step or two above RE:UC.

Ghost Squad is underrated in my opinion, cracking game which is great for a quick blast of high score attack.

@smelly: probably because you have no mates yes :) I don't have many to play with either sadly.

The fun factor of L4D is cut in half when you are playing with strangers.

I'd have liked to know more about the 2 player thing. If you can play the campaign with 2 people from beginning to end and it's fun, I'm buying it in an instant.

The "missing reel" referred to in the review was actually in Rodriguez's Planet Terror not it's Grindhouse sister flick Death Proof.
/pedant
Planet Terror was by far the superior of the two.

I'm going to have to give it a go, then. My quest for games that can be played by 2 players on the same system never ends!

Nice review that. Been hankering for a bit of on rails after Umbrella Chronicles was a bit pants.

Just one thing though - could someone confirm the ethnic groups these zombies belong to?

Ignoring the fact that you can get it for 30 quid on Play, and the elegance with which you argue your case, are you suggesting that it isn't worth it for an 8/10 game? Just because something old, doesn't mean it isn't worthwhile now, '95 design brought us Chrono Trigger after all.

Bit of a stupid argument that. A shooting game is probably more original and refreshing right now than an FPS. Seems a new one is released every week, many of which are not that great really.

If a game is fun, its fun.

Say hello to my ignore list for being a 'tard

An on rails shooter for the Wii gets 8/10 and a glowing review, despite not sounding any different to any other on-rails shooter ever... What's going on here then?

Perhaps it plays better than the others? I know, I know, it's cutting edge stuff this marking the game on how it plays rather than how it "sounds".
