Test Drive DLC bundled together for PC
One Megapack to rule them all.
Atari has finally gotten around to bundling all of the Test Drive Unlimited Xbox 360 downloadable content together for PC.
The bulging Megapack is available on Metaboli for GBP 9.99 / EUR 14.99. It includes 46 shiny cars and one lonely motorbike. This is better value for money than the separate packs on Live Marketplace, assuming you want the full bananas.
"We're very pleased to now be able to bring these fantastic vehicles to players of the PC version of Test Drive Unlimited and we really want to thank the PC community for their patience," said David Nadal, boss of Eden Games.
The machines are altogether a better class of car than a Ford Fiesta. Our favourites are a bizarre creation called an Edonis that looks like it could turn into a robot, and the Holden Efijy Concept that is simply bonkers.
See below for the full list of cars. Or pop over to the official Test Drive Unlimited website to get hold of the pack.

I thought the PC version was a bug-ridden pile of wank. No?
Review? PSP review?

"Ballistic Presents", in a big gruff voice.
I loved the Mac version though.

Indeed, the PC version was the most problematic and most of the customers are waiting for a new patch rather than waiting for carpacks. Hopefully they'll release a new patch, but knowing Atari, that will happen somewhere between fall 2008 and never.
The PSP version of TDU was relatively well received by most of the american reviewers. The PS2 version it's pretty much the same as the PSP version. The minus on those two versions of TDU is the fact that you won't get the motorcycles, a rather big number of cars(around 20) and the character customization. Also you won't get the missions(hitchhikers, models, car delivery and delivery). The PSP and PS2 version has the clubs where you can win some cars and free upgrades. The XBox360 version is pretty much the same as the PC version, but with over 50 cars added. Lucky bastards...And yes, no bugs allowed on XBox360 version.

**Confused**
TDU is a great game on the 360, its a shame the PC port was so wank.

Good news about the new DLC, bad news about the price of it, but my belief is that you're more likely to have a bug-free version of TDU2 playable on an EeePC than Atari ever getting round to releasing a second patch for TDU.
