I saw a multiplayer trailer of this in action a few months ago, and it seemed to consist mainly of people doing forward somersaults. I'm not exactly holding my breath.

Either that or someone needs to go back and play some Mega Drive games.
It's still not next-gen enough, granted, but Tenchu has never been... play the PS2 games, the visuals really are quite rough... at least in comparison to the last titles this looks a little sharper...

Call me what ever you like, I say it how it is. This game looks awful compared to other 360 offerings. The fact that Tenchu has always looked rubbish is no excuse is it? It's like saying "my first car was an old banger, so I aspire to get another old banger as my second car". The game looks rubbish, if you take offence to the truth then I put it to you that you are infact the fanboy/troll.
And yes, It obviously looks better than a Megadrive game, I take it you haven't heard of sarcasm...

I don't like Tenchu much myself because, as we can agree, it's always a few years behind technically and visually. It's this that makes it such a bitch to play since, with often dreadful draw distance and the punishingly slow pace of it adding up to make it one for those with a little more patience for their virtual bloodshed than me. It's not there yet it seems, however to my eye it is a far, far cry from the bad old days when Tenchu used to still look and play like a PS1 game even though it was mid-way through the PS2's lifespan!
And as for sarcasm, the only thing I have to say about that is use it, don't abuse it...
